7 year old Caitlin found her voice in a ‘Yellow Submarine’. 12 year old Caitlin was ‘Born to Try’. 16 year old Caitlin wanted a ‘Party in the USA’. 32 year old Caitlin has no filter, a big heart and the same dreams she did as a 7 year old....... of living in a Yellow Submarine :D
Teenage Caitlin hated country music alongside her parents and thought Korn was life. Teenage Caitlin also thought it was smart to sneak out of the house, ride motorbikes without helmets and pierce as many body part as possible without the parents finding out. Lucky for everyone, time has changed her. She is now a strong advocate for country music and the future it represents. Her originals outline her experiences and her performances expose her emotions (as much as she likes to say she doesn’t have any).
Todays Caitlin feels all the feels from Ashley McBride, Miranda Lambert and Luke Combs. She respects the past of country music and loves the 90’s even though she didn’t grow up listening to them, she is making up for it now.
The quirks of her personality, the depth of her soul and the honesty of her stories, combined with her compelling, emotive vocals, leave audiences wanting to know more. Born and bred in the Mid North of South Australia, Caitlin Drew will never disappoint.
